Bursting into 2022 with a newly defined sound, Sputnik’s fierce punk-rock single ‘Lindy Hop’ quickly became a crowd favourite that also saw huge support within the media-scape, landing full rotation on triple j, triple j Unearthed and 2XX FM. ‘Lindy Hop’ also saw love from the Spotify Local Noise playlist, with press support from Tone Deaf, Australian Music Scene, LivewireAU, Sounds of Oz, MILKY, Homebrewed Podcast and more. ‘Heavenly’ followed as the bands’ most personal songs to date, with a visually stunning music video that premiered on triple j Unearthed before capturing the attention of rage, MTV and Clipped.TV.

Between multiple headline shows, supporting the likes of Bakers Eddy and Grinspoon, plus landing on multiple lineups for TorchFest, ANU Festival, Hurry Away Festival and more, Sputnik Sweetheart are quickly positioning themselves as a must-see live act, delivering hard-hitting punk-rock that demands attention and changes hearts.
